Singapore, February 01, 2023 – Denodo, a leader in data management, has announced two recent appointments within the APAC leadership team – Robin Fong as Regional Vice President & General Manager, ASEAN & Korea, and Shanmuga Sunthar Muniandy, as Director of Data Architecture & Chief Evangelist, APAC.

Denodo has been significantly growing its footprint in the APAC region, with seven offices spanning Australia, ASEAN, Greater China Region, India, Japan and Korea. Some of Denodo’s noteworthy customers from the APAC region include Toyota Astra Motor, BHP, Johnson & Johnson, Dai Nippon, Hitachi, Obayashi, KDDI and Goldwind.
In his new role at Denodo, Robin will be responsible for sales, business development, customer success and general operations across these regions. Robin brings with him more than a decade of experience in various sales and leadership roles for large and start-up companies like Neo4j, MapR, SAP and Oracle. He is driven by an acute focus to help organisations gain a competitive advantage through analytics, big data, and cloud-native solutions.

Joining Robin in the team of senior leadership is Shanmuga Sunthar Muniandy, a veteran in the data management and analytics industry. Shanmuga Sunthar’s newly assumed responsibilities consist of overseeing policies and technologies that form the foundation of data management, and helping organisations uncover solutions to meet the dynamic needs of businesses today.
For over 20 years, Shanmuga Sunthar has garnered experience in the areas of digital transformation, enterprise architecture, big data analytics, and many more. Coupled with his expertise, Shanmuga Sunthar is also fuelled by his passion to understand clients’ business challenges and evangelise the latest technology, solutions, and services to successfully meet clients’ objectives and growth targets.
